The short version. The PlotSend extension, bridge and EA run on your own computer. Your trades, your chart, your MT5 login and your account balance never come to us. We only keep what's needed to sell you a licence: your email, your name, your plan and the MT5 account number the licence is for.
The browser extension
The extension runs on TradingView chart pages. It reads the Long or Short position tool you draw (symbol, entry, stop, target) and sends it to the PlotSend bridge on your own computer at 127.0.0.1. It doesn't send anything to us or to anyone else.
It saves your panel settings in your browser's own storage so they're kept between sessions: things like your risk presets, the last size you typed, your order type, trade-management values, your daily risk limit and where the panel sits. It also keeps a short list of your last sends. All of it stays in your browser, and removing the extension removes it.
The extension doesn't use analytics, ads or tracking, and it doesn't read other websites.
The bridge and the EA
The bridge is a small program on your PC that passes trades between the extension and MetaTrader 5. The EA runs inside your MT5. They talk to each other through files and a local connection on your computer. Your orders go to your broker through MT5, exactly as when you trade by hand. Nothing goes through our servers.
The EA checks your licence on your computer. It doesn't contact us to do that.
When you buy a licence
Payments are handled by Whop. We never see your card details. When a payment goes through, Whop tells us, and we keep:
- Your email and name, to send you your licence, renewals and download link.
- Your plan and when it runs out.
- Your MT5 account number, the one you activate the licence for, because each licence is locked to one account. We don't ask for, and never want, your MT5 password.
- Your licence key, so we can send it again if you lose it.
- A record of each payment notice from Whop, so the same payment is never processed twice.
This is stored with Cloudflare, who host plotsend.com. Our emails are sent through Resend. Whop, Cloudflare and Resend each have their own privacy policies. We don't sell your data, share it for advertising, or use it for anything except your licence and support.
This website
plotsend.com doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking scripts. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. The "Try it" demo runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the data we keep about you. Email support@plotsend.com. If you delete it while your subscription is running, we can't send you renewed licences any more.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes too. Big changes will also be emailed to customers.
